You'll need:
large sheet of drawing paper
crayons and markers
tape
What to do:
- Cover a table with drawing paper and tape it to the table. You may want to protect the table top with extra paper or put a plastic tablecloth underneath the paper.
- Invite your child to be creative and draw Halloween pictures all over the paper.
- Encourage him to use the black and orange colors of Halloween.
- Help him draw the outlines of ghosts with black crayon. Invite him to draw them in his own way.
- Draw some pictures yourself and ask your child to tell you what they are.
Let's Talk: Ideas to Explore Together.
- What did we draw on the paper to make it look like Halloween?
- What colors did we use? Why did we use those colors?
- Where should we hang this decoration?
