Ten Little Pumpkins
[30 Minutes]
Invite your child to play and learn with pumpkins and other Halloween shapes as you sing this popular song!
You'll need:
construction paper
scissors
pencil
What to do:
- Help your child cut pumpkins, ghosts, and witches from construction paper.
- Teach him to sing the following song (Tune: "Ten Little Indians"):
One little, two little, three little pumpkins; Four little, five little, six little pumpkins; Seven little, eight little, nine little pumpkins; Ten pumpkins on a fence.
- Change the verse as follows:
One little, two little, three little witches ....Ten witches "flying in the sky". Continue with ghosts "in the air".
- Encourage your child to place the paper props on the table and to point to the corresponding cut out as you sing this song together.
- Together, make up more verses using the Halloween props.
