How to play:
- See if you can say these Thanksgiving tongue twisters at least 10 times. Say them really fast.
Betsy baked a big batch of buttermilk biscuits. Can six sick swans slurp soup slowly? Lots of leaping lizards licked luscious lemon lollipops. Two two-toned turkeys trotted down the trail. Fred flipped five fingerlicking flapjacks. Chris chopped cheese chunks cheerfully. Pilgrim Pete picked a peck of pickled peppers; a peck of pickled peppers, Pilgrim Pete picked. If Pilgrim Pete picked a peck of pickled peppers, where¹s the peck of pickled peppers Pilgrim Pete picked?
- See if you can make up some of your own tongue twisters. Challenge another player to say them with you. How many did you successfully repeat?
Useful information:
We played this game after out Thanksgiving meal. We tried to make up our own tongue twisters. Each of us chose a letter of the alphabet begin with and the twister had to be about someone at the table. It got pretty funny. (Shawna, age 13)
