French Toast Snowman

What a treat on a winter's day! This snowman will melt your child's heart.
You'll need:
snowman or round cookie cutters (or a plastic knife) thick, white bread 2 eggs shallow bowl 1/2 cup milk 1 Tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon shortening or margarine salt griddle or frying pan maple syrup powdered sugar measuring cup measuring spoons
What to do:
- Using cookie cutters or a plastic knife, invite your child to make a snowman from each slice of thick white bread.
- Help him crack 2 eggs into a bowl and beat until foamy.
- Invite him to add 1/2 cup milk, 1 Tbsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, a dash of salt and mix all ingredients well.
- Heat a griddle or frying pan to medium-high heat.
- Grease the pan with shortening or margarine.
- Invite him to dip the bread shapes into the egg mixture, coating each side.
- Adult places the bread on the griddle and cook on each side until lightly browned.
- Serve these yummy snowmen on a plate with maple syrup or powdered sugar "snow."
